Your Questions, Answered

  • Planning a trip on your own often means sorting through endless options, comparing information that doesn’t always apply to your situation, and trying to piece everything together in a way that actually works.

Working with a travel advisor gives you a more guided, personalized approach from an industry expert.

Instead of doing it all on your own, you get:

    • a trip that’s designed around your needs and priorities, not a generic recommendation

    • guidance based on real experience and industry knowledge

    • a clear plan so you’re not second guessing your decisions

    • access to trusted travel partners, recommendations, deals, and insights that help elevate your trip

    • support if something changes before or during your travels

My role is to simplify the process, help you make confident decisions, and make sure every detail works together the way it should.

So instead of spending hours trying to figure everything out… you can focus on enjoying the experience and looking forward to your trip.

  • Itinerary Design is ideal if you want a personalized travel plan and recommendations, but prefer to make the reservations yourself. I create a custom itinerary you can use to move forward with confidence.

Essential Planning is designed for travelers who need help with one key part of their trip, such as a hotel or resort, cruise, all-inclusive stay, or theme park tickets. I provide recommendations and manage that reservation while you handle the rest of the trip on your own. Flight-only reservations are not offered.

Full-Service Planning is the most comprehensive option. It includes itinerary design, management of multiple trip components such as cruises, resorts, flights, rental cars, and theme park tickets, plus ongoing planning support, resources, and assistance before and during your trip.

If you’re not sure which option is right for you, we’ll talk through it during your consultation call.

  • Yes. Accessibility and thoughtful planning are an important part of how I approach travel.

I have personal experience planning trips around mobility challenges and other unique needs, and I take that into account when designing your trip.

The goal is to make sure your trip is not just planned, but planned in a way that actually works for you.

  • This How We Work & Investment Guide walks you through my process, planning fees, service levels, and what to expect before working together.

  • Absolutely.

My role is to guide you, provide recommendations, and simplify the process… not take control away from you.

You’ll always have the final say in your trip.

  • The first step is to schedule a planning call.

We’ll talk through your trip, your priorities, and what you’re looking for, and decide the best way to move forward.

  • It depends on where you’re traveling, but in most cases, yes.

For international travel, U.S. travelers are typically required to have a valid passport. Many countries also require that your passport:

    • is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date

    • has at least one or two blank pages

    • does not expire during your trip

There are a few exceptions, but these rules apply to many destinations, especially for cruises and international vacations.

Because requirements can vary by country, it’s important to check your specific destination in advance.

I always recommend making sure your passport is up to date well before your trip so there are no last-minute issues.

  • Yes. Planning fees start at $75 and vary based on the level of support you choose. These fees cover the time, research, recommendations, and planning support included in your selected service. I’ll go over the best option for your trip during your planning call so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Travel insurance isn’t required, but it is strongly recommended for most trips.

Unexpected things can happen before or during travel, like cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. Travel insurance helps protect your investment and gives you a plan in place if something doesn’t go as expected.

When you work with me, I’ll provide options and explain what coverage may make sense for your trip, so you can make an informed decision.

Ultimately, the choice is yours, but I do recommend considering it for peace of mind.

  • Yes, I can book flights as part of a full trip or vacation package.

At this time, I don’t offer flight-only booking services.
